Cooking skill +++

I cook? 25students plus 10staffs? giant pot, giant wok..dirty hands. scrubbing toes. Blister fingers. Sleep like a log. Hurting feet. Happy face.

My weekend in Kudat usually consist of eating and sleeping all day long thanks to NO shopping mall in Kudat district.

First day menu was kari ayam and sayur campur.

But this weekend is the hectic one...Never ever in my life that I worked this hard in the Kitchen. Luckily, we survive tsk.tsk.. after keep on reminding that it is a simple task. Bukannya suruh buat coding pon. masak ja pon.

As for me, my body had culture shock. kih kih kih. sengal seluruh badan. and kecederaan ringan yang tak sepatutnya terjadi. It's ok. I won't complain as I enjoying it.

Though,
I hurt my toe (got blister) ~ sitting comfortably in Aldrin's house escaping from heavy rain, and suddenly the student that carry our grocery open the door and terkepak la my toe disitu).

And,
I hurt my left middle finger (scratch) ~ looking for hens and chicks to feed them kerak nasi. Carrying a huge cooker, I splash the rice at pineapple leaves (tajam ooo and robek la jariku disitu).

Plus,
I slice my right middle finger while slicing vegetables. Also slice my nail. (tajam oo pisau RMT).

And,
Blister on my right ring finger due to cutting dried chili yang tak sampai 1kg itu.

Dirty everywhere. Scrubbing everywhere. Shut your mouth. Eat your meal.


2nd day menu~ ikan goreng + sayur lemak

We had tried our best..harap bersabar dengan makanan yang so so..

Last day menu ~ Ayam masak merah + Sayur goreng + Additional menu (Sup Labu air)
Labu air rasanya macam honeydew yang sangat tawar..

Kesimpulannya, saya belajar masak kari, masak ayam merah, sup labu air, masak nasi satu kawah mesti rebus air dulu, sental tangan dengan sabun cuci fab buku adalah lebih baik menghilangkan jelaga. nak buang kerak nasi kat semak jangan niat nak buang, tapi niat nak kasi ayam makan haa kan baik dapat pahala.

Kesimpulan lagi, jangan membazir makanan tak tentu hala.

Masa kemas-kemas nak balik tu, Kak Norisah suruhla anak dia buang kerak nasi dalam periuk besar tu. Tapi dia pesan niat bagi ayam makan. (Ayam nilah yang berak kat sekeliling sekolah).

Tapi lepas tu ada budak Tahun 6 ni mintak kerak nasi tu. Budak ni dahla rumah jauh, kena naik bot lagi. Rumah atas air. Dia kata, janganlah buang, bagi aku. terus dia simpan dalam beg kerak nasi tu. Waaaaa tersentuh jiwa. Pastu kami bagi la dia tapau ayam masak merah dan nasi lebih suruh dia bawa balik. Iskkk sedih oo..

Mungkin ayah dia nelayan. Angin pulak kuat sekarang. Hujan kekadang. Hmmm..

Kak Norisah pon sama, banyak barang dapor yang dia minta (dia nak beli mula2), mungkin jarang dia jumpa sebab mana ada kedai kat tepi laut. Kami bagi jer sebagai upah. Kalau Kak Norisah tak bantu kami..iskkkk nasik jadi bubur agaknyer..

So far, I impress with their determination to live.
